Lower church fire alarm system

Sometime over the next month, the lower church will be closed for a week due to the need to replace portions of the fire alarm system. One component which must be replaced has a date on it going back to 1937!

Obviously, we cannot put off this upgrade to the system and it shows the necessity for regular maintenance and update of our facilities. The cost will be between $12,000 and $15,000 depending upon contingencies.

During the period of the closure of the lower church, all liturgical activities will be in the upper church.
