Parish heating and air conditioning system update... All religious services have been moved to the lower church since the plastering and duct work in the lower church side altar areas has been installed and fitted through the windows. We hope to have the inside stained glass windows installed in the lower church soon.
The duct work in the upper church is complete, the side altar areas were painted, and the concrete pads were also poured this past week. Work on the outside duct work and arrival and installation of the outside heating and air units will begin within a week. We plan to return services to the upper church for Holy Week and Easter beginning next weekend, Palm Sunday, April 9/10. As previously noted, the total cost of the project will approach $425,000.00. We will be addressing a special capital campaign to raise those funds beginning after Easter. In the meantime, say a prayer that the present heating system can hold up for a couple more months.
